We currently have an opportunity for a Bench Technician in Louisville, KY

Job description / Mission
Responsible for in-house repair and training on the Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems product line.  Excellent communication, interactive, computer and product skill sets will be required to help resolve application, tooling or production issues.
 
§ Inspect incoming products and evaluate for repairs.
§ Generate detailed Repair Quote for customer and update Gage In Site database.
§ Perform approved repairs and verify correct operation.
§ Perform QC verification of completed repairs.
§ Inspect warranty claims from Customers.
§ Train distributor and customer technicians in repair of tools and controllers.
§ Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
§ 5% travel outside the Auburn Hills facility is necessary.
 
Experience Requirements
Experience servicing Atlas Copco fastening equipment, high volume automotive production, torque theory and fastening knowledge are required. Minimum 5 years’ experience diagnosing and repairing pneumatic and DC power tooling. 
 
Knowledge / Educational requirements
Complete product knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment is required. A 2-year degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
 
Personality requirements
An independent self-starter with excellent writing skills. Ability to perform and record detailed troubleshooting and repair.
