We have an opening for a Service Center Manager in Arlington, TX

Job Description / Mission

Responsible for leading and managing the operations of an Atlas Copco Service depot.   
Occasional service work will be required as well as follow up on completed repairs. Excellent communication, interactive, computer and product skill sets will be required to help resolve tooling, production, or personnel issues. This position will be based in the office in Arlington, TX, but will require 5% travel nationally.
The Service Center will be responsible for reviewing, approving, or denying warranty claims from Distributors and Customers as well as communicating product problems back to Product Management using our Quality system.  The manager will also be responsible to ensure clear and accurate quotes get to our customers each night.
Responsible for managing a direct team and collaborating with remote peers

  • 1 x Bench Team Leader
    • 3 x Bench Technicians
  • 2 x Logistics
Experience Requirements
  • At least two (2) years of experience leading a diverse technical and non-technical team
  • Experienced with mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance
  • Experience with facilities maintenance and management
  • 5S and lean methods
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on pneumatic and DC power tooling in a production environment.
Knowledge / Educational Requirements
  • Must be knowledgeable with computers, IoT and drive to reduce paper
  • Prior team management is a must
  • 2-4 year degree (technical school or college)

Personality Requirements
An independent self-starter with excellent writing and people skills.
Must be able to lead others and drive change.
Collaborating as a team is a must
